This amendment would restrict a local government from regulating the carry of firearms, including permitted concealed weapons, possession of firearms by convicted felons, adjudicated mental incompetents, undocumented immigrants, and minors. This initiative would remove the following requirements to transfer property tax base to replacement residence for homeowners over 55 or severely disabled: that replacement property be of equal or lesser value; that replacement property be in eligible county; and that transfer occur only once. This legislative referendum would amend the state constitution by editing gender-specific terms to be gender neutral terms.
